Our mission is to provide a variety of housing solutions to improve well being in our communities.

My name is Jay Butler. It is my goal to grow this organization with services demanded by the communities we reside in. As our organization expands, we look to maintain a close relationship with our customers and tailor our offerings specifically to the neighborhoods we serve.
This company has afforded me an opportunity to reconnect with a lifelong love of architecture and to fulfill a passionate desire to make a difference in the lives of others. My journey includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kansas in 1992, four years of design experience with the Toro Company and more than eight years of sales experience in technology integration. During that time, the seed for Know Places Like Home was nurtured on renovations of three personal residences.
Since founding the company in early 2004, we have been involved in numerous kitchen and bathroom remodels in addition to a variety of maintenance related services.
